Ola Babcock Miller Building

The State Library of Iowa has been housed in the Ola Babcock Miller Building since 1910. Currently, the agency's administrative offices, some special collections, and state documents repository are located on the building's east side ground and first floors. The State Library also manages the Forrest Spaulding Conference Room #310 in the Miller Building, which is available for state employees to reserve for meetings.

The Miller Building rotunda is open to the public; however, State Library offices and staff can only be accessed by appointment. Deliveries are accepted on the ground floor during business hours.

Parking Information

A visitor lot is located immediately north of the Miller building. Additional parking is available in Lot #16 located a block east at E. 13th St. and Des Moines St.
