All Iowa Reads 2021 Virtual Visits News Item Graphic.pngThe Iowa Center for the Book is pleased to announce a series of virtual visits from the authors of the 2021 All Iowa Reads titles. Beginning in May and throughout the remainder of the year, the authors will appear in nine webinars open to the public to discuss their All Iowa Reads title and answer questions from attendees.

“This is the first time we have been able to offer this many author visits so widely accessible to the public,” said Nancy Medema, coordinator of the Iowa Center for the Book. “We are looking forward to welcoming the authors and celebrating the way reading and discussing a book can unite us and provide a sense of community, which is what All Iowa Reads is about.”

Each of the three authors will appear in three webinars that will last about an hour and will be hosted by Iowa Center for the Book or State Library staff. Attendees must register in order to receive login information and will be able to submit questions for the authors via the chat function during the webinar.

Libraries are encouraged to promote the visits to their book clubs and patrons. A Media Kit for Libraries is available to help in promoting the webinar series to the public.

Dates and times with the authors are listed below; register for any of the webinars at the link below.
