Survey Now Open for Library Staff on State Library Programs & Resources

Jul 08, 2024

Iowa public library directors and staff are invited to share their thoughts on some of the programs and resources offered by the State Library this past fiscal year. Feedback will help the State Library administration gauge the success and identify how to best apply funding to have the greatest impact to Iowa libraries and Iowans. Responses will also be used to report on the State Library’s federal programs as required by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

The survey is anonymous and presents participants with a list of programs and resources and asks them to rank their agreement with the following statements for each item:

  • I am satisfied that the resource is meeting my library needs.
  • Applying the resource will help improve library services to the public.

The survey then asks participants to list the top three things the State Library provides that have the greatest impact at their library. Respondents will also have the opportunity to share additional comments or feedback in an open ended field at the end of the survey.

The survey will be open Monday, July 8 through Wednesday, July 31. Iowa public library directors and staff can complete the survey at the link below:
