This is a professional public service position in the Marion Public Library. The Library Assistant - Makerspace is responsible for managing and facilitating the use of the libraryβs Makerspace. Such equipment varies up to and including 3D printers, sewing machines, laser cutters, Cricut machines, and more and includes the Recording Studio and Greenscreen rooms. This position will provide training to patrons on how to operate the equipment, develop and lead makerspace programs, maintain inventory, and ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all users to create and learn through hands-on activities. AtMail Email Service Ending May 1

The State Library will no longer offer email service to public libraries. Libraries using AtMail must transition to a new service by May 1.
