About the State Library
The role of the State Library is to improve library services in Iowa and deliver specialized information services to state government and Iowans.

State Library administrative offices and Forrest Spaulding Room 310, available for state employees to reserve.

State Law Library
Iconic law library, open to the public, located on the second fllor of the State Capitol Building.

District Support
Six District Consultants offer localized support to Iowa libraries, and District LRTs provide remote technical support.
