Hubbard Public Library is seeking a dedicated and community-minded Library Director to oversee the administration of our library in accordance with the policies set by the Library Board. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage budget 
Manage day-to-day library operations and services
Supervise staff and volunteers
Maintain library collections and digital resources
Coordinate programming and outreach efforts
Ensure compliance with library board policies and state standards
Serve as the primary liaison to the Library Board and community partners

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Adequate computer knowledge and comfort with technology
Certification through the State Library of Iowa (must be completed within two years of start date)
Prior library experience preferred but not required

Position Details:

Regular part-time schedule (up to 34 hours per week)
