Learning Circuit 2025
Join us in-person at a location near you to do a deep, hands-on dive into library program planning and evaluation. We’ll kick off by introducing a “logic model” to help program and service planners think strategically about a new library offering. Next, we’ll think about defining success in our libraries. Finally, we’ll strategize how to measure that success.
Each event will be held from 9:30 - 12:30 on Thursday, October 23 at the locations below:
- Northwest: Demco Community Center, Boyden
- North Central: Clear Lake Public Library
- Northeast: Denver Public Library
- Southeast: Coralville Public Library
- Central: Bertha Bartlett Public Library, Story City
- Southwest: Corning Public Library
About the Learning Circuit
Typically held annually in the fall, the Learning Circuit has been a staple of the State Library Continuing Education calendar for many years. The goal of the Circuit is to offer in-depth educational opportunities from trainers representing national initiatives, innovative programs, trends in library services and more.
The event features a hybrid format, combining Zoomed-in national experts with hands-on learning activities, led by each district's consultant.
