Counting Electronic Resources for the Annual Survey
The table below is meant to assist librarians in how to report electronic resources on the FY25 Annual Survey.
Resources are listed alphabetically, along with a column for the resource type and if the resource is prefilled on the survey by the State Library. In those cases, you should verify the information and contact Gary Krob if there are any discrepancies.
The listing below is not complete. The State Library adds additional electronic resources as we become aware of them, so check back often. Please note that free online resources should not be reported on the survey. If you have a resource not included on the list below, please contact Gary Krob.
Example: Auto Repair Reference Center is considered a database for survey purposes and will not be prefilled by the State Library. The expenditures should be reported on line D33.
As a reminder for the FY25 survey, the State Library will not be asking questions on the number of databases or usage. Instead, you will only be asked if you provide those services. Expenditures on databases will continue to be collected.
