The City of Elkader is seeking applicants for the full-time position of Library Director.
Successful candidates will have knowledge of essential library services and current technologies; enjoy interacting with people of all ages; work cooperatively with staff, other city departments, and community groups; and effectively manage budgets and daily operations of the library. Candidates should have experience and/or schooling which demonstrates the ability to perform the work. Position may require occasional weekend, early morning, and late night work hours. Must have or be able to complete the State Library of Iowa Certification within two years of date of employment. Submit a cover letter and application.
