The Atlantic Public Library is accepting applications for a FT Adult Services librarian to begin in January 2027.
Under the direct supervision of the Library Director, this position plans, implements, and maintains library services for adults including collection management, circulation supervision, and hosting events. This position performs front line tasks and provides consistent, courteous and sincere customer service to patrons and library staff at all times.
A bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 4 years relevant work experience is required. State Library endorsement must be received within 3 years of hire and must be maintained. Prior knowledge of library practices, procedures, and trends is preferred. Must have flexibility in schedule to work evenings and Saturdays. Salary begins at $20/hour.
