Your group will gain an understanding of the crucial factors to consider when working on library grant work, discover what funders look for in successful proposals, and gain the skills to bring clarity and professionalism to their proposals. Participants will be empowered to identify the five-step process of grant work, explore various funding sources, initiate successful proposals, and approach grant work with enthusiasm and confidence.
Throughout the workshop, participants will be led through guided completion of a Grant Project Planning Worksheet. This includes completing a worksheet with prompts, examples, and writing time. They will leave with the foundation of a grant project they can continue developing after the workshop.
