Pop YS Live (November 2026): Launching Out of This World Summer and After-School Programming with STAR Net

Date/Time: November 18, 1:00

3-2-1... blast off! The countdown to the launch of 2027’s “Reading Expands Our Universe” theme continues with a special Pop YS Live brought to you by STAR Net, a national initiative helping librarians build STEM skills through hands-on resources.

Anne Holland, STAR Net’s Director of Education and Learning Research, will share engaging, nontraditional STEM activities for youth after-school and summer programs. She’ll also showcase powerful planning and programming tools, such as the STEM Activity Clearinghouse database, and highlight specific activities aligned with the “Reading Explores Our Universe” theme. Attendees will leave equipped with actionable tips, resources, and innovative ideas for upcoming youth programming.
