Public library directors can register now for Director Roundtables across the state this May.

The 2025 Roundtables will give attendees an opportunity to further dig into this yearβs education theme: Assess, Adapt, Act. With that focus, attendees will explore strategies for assessing library services and the critical connections between program evaluations, staff performance reviews, and board engagement.
Library directors can share insights, experiences, and success stories about the actions taken to improve the library using evaluations or assessments. In addition to the guided discussion, the Roundtables allow time for open-ended conversation on topics of interest to attendees.
Director Roundtables will be held in-person at 15 locations across the state, with at least two offerings in each district. Directors who attend can earn three hours of CE Credit.

More About Director Roundtables
A longtime staple in the Continuing Education calendar, Director Roundtables are typically held in the spring of each year. Throughout each district, directors have a chance to learn from their district consultant, network with their peers, and apply new learning in their library. Roundtables are designed in a 3-hour format, with the first portion being a guided discussion about the Continuing Education theme for the year. The last hour is typically open-ended discussion.
