The State Library has launched a new online resource for test preparation and study materials. Mometrix eLibrary is available to all Iowans through public and academic libraries and is funded by an appropriation from the Iowa Legislature.

Mometrix eLibrary provides test-takers flashcards, practice tests, and guides, covering subjects from foundational education to specialized trades and advanced academic fields. The comprehensive test preparation platform offers resources for over 1,500 different exams.

The resource is funded by a separate state appropriation from Iowa Workforce Development. The contract with Mometrix eLibrary is set for three years, with options for annual renewals after the initial three year period.

Mometrix eLibrary is available to all Iowa public and academic libraries. Users get access through a unique URL on the library website, and can access the platform from the library, home, or school. When accessing Mometrix for the first time, users are prompted to create a free account to save and track progress.
