The West Liberty Public Library is seeking a full-time Youth Services Coordinator to lead library services for children ages 0-12 and their families. This position plans and delivers children’s programming, develops collections, coordinates outreach, supervises volunteers, and provides leadership within the library.
The ideal candidate is passionate about literacy, child development, and community engagement; enjoys working with children and families; and is committed to creating a welcoming library experience. Spanish language skills are highly desirable.
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field or comparable experience; a master’s degree in library science or a related field is preferred. At least two years of related experience is required. This is a full-time position, and weekly evening hours and monthly Sundays are required.
