Under the direct supervision of the Library Director, provides excellent customer service to the community along with information and readers’ advisory services. Creates and distributes passive programming for youth. Does related professional and clerical work as required. Manages all aspects of the circulation desk, including checking in/out materials, shelving, creating new library accounts, etc. This position is part-time (10-15 hours per month) and requires evening and weekend (Saturday) hours. Hourly compensation is $16.00 per hour.
High school diploma with college credits preferred. 1-2 years of customer service experience. Library experience preferred.
