This is a part time paraprofessional public service position in the Marion Public Library. The employee prepares and conducts programs for adults. The position requires some knowledge of professional practice and independent judgment in its application, as well as the application of prescribed procedures and methods. This position will assist a diverse patron population through service at the Reference desk with researching or locating routine to difficult reference information and Reader’s Advisory. Scheduled hours may vary weekly and will include evenings and weekends. The employee works under the supervision of the Programming Manager.
