The Public Services Librarian provides excellent customer service and advanced library services to patrons of all ages, with a focus on Information Services, programming for adults, and cataloging materials for adults. This position delivers high-quality reference, reader’s advisory, programming, technology assistance, and outreach services while contributing to core library operations such as collection development, cataloging,
materials processing, marketing, and digital services. The Public Services Librarian helps maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming library environment and supports the library’s mission through responsive public service.
Requires a bachelor's degree, and relevant experience in a library or other public services setting (or any combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge and ability to do the job).
