The State Library will no longer offer AtMail email service to public libraries beginning May 1, 2025. The State Library first notified public library directors in August 2024, and with about three months remaining until the service is discontinued, libraries are strongly encouraged to start the transition process sooner rather than later if they havenβt already.
To avoid disruptions in service and prevent bottlenecks in support from State Library staff, the State Library needs assistance from public libraries to make the transition go as smoothly as possible. Libraries that have already moved to a new service should notify their District LRT. Libraries that still need to select a new service and make the switch should make a plan to start the process over the next few weeks.
The State Library has gathered a variety of resources to help libraries select a new service and guide them through the process. District LRTs are also standing by to offer support and answer any questions.
