The Waukee Public Library seeks an enthusiastic and self-motivated librarian to serve tweens and teens in our community. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position, with a salary starting at $31.02/hr - $64,527/yr.
The Teen Services Librarian works under the general supervision of the Assistant Director to plan and perform programs for tweens and teens, ages 12-18, and assists all patrons with routine library tasks. The Teen Services Librarian is also largely responsible for the young adult print materials collection.
An ideal candidate has a positive attitude, good organization and time-management, excellent interpersonal skills, and enjoys working with people, especially teens and tweens.
Hours:
Mondays 11:30am-8pm
Tues - Thu 8:30am-5pm
Fridays 9am-5:30pm
One weekend per month. Sat 8:30am-4pm and Sun 11:30am-4pm
